Qualifying Requirements

No Criminal Record

Just like any country, Spain wants to make sure you’re good to go. You’ll need a clean criminal record from your home country.

Continued Investment

To keep your Golden Visa, you must maintain the investment for at least 5 years. After 5 years, you can choose to sell your investment if you wish, but you’ll need to keep it if you want to continue holding the visa.

Health Insurance

You must have health insurance that covers you while living in Spain. Think of it like a safety net for your peace of mind.

Sufficient Funds

Spain wants to know that you can support yourself and your family while living there. So, you’ll need to prove you have enough funds for living expenses.

Minimum Stay

You don’t have to live in Spain all the time, but you need to spend at least 7 days in Spain during the first year, and 14 days each subsequent year.

Family

You can bring your spouse and children under 18 along with you, which makes it easier to start fresh as a family.

Valid Passport

You’ll need a valid passport, as it’s a standard requirement for any visa application.

Proof of Investment

Once you’ve made the investment, you’ll need to provide proof, such as property deeds or investment certificates, to show you meet the €500,000 requirement.

No Need to Speak Spanish

Unlike some other countries, Spain doesn’t require you to speak Spanish to apply for the Golden Visa, which makes it easier for those who don’t know the language yet.

Temporary Residency

After your application is approved, you’ll get a temporary residency card that lasts for one year. After that, you can renew it for two-year periods as long as you continue to meet the investment requirements.

Our Process

  • Stage I

    Duration: 1-2 Months

    • Evaluation & Background Check: To make sure the applicant is eligible for the program, they undergo an assessment and a background check.
    • Visit to Spain & View Property: Applicant travels to Spain for the purpose of seeing property shall be accompanied by the processing of a Schengen visa.
    • Bank Account.Property Viewing: The applicant opens a bank account and views some selected properties for investment purposes.

  • Stage II

    Duration: 3 Months

    • Purchase of Property & Visa Processing: The applicant buys property and then applies for an approval visa.
    • Residence Permit: The residence permit is 2 years in validity and after five years grants permanent residency.
